...

10 minutes of silence

*Shuffle*

*Cough*

Strum...

Doesn't that annoy you? It annoys me.

So first things first. Rich I appreciate the hilarity of your gimp suit but we all know that the real joy of oblivioin lies in making up for the lack of a much needed conan the barbarian game. So ditch your magic and gimp suit, get yourself a much nakeder, stupider, buffer character and sword that would lead anyone to think that you were compensating for something if it wasn't so blatantly obvious from the stretch marks on your figure-hugging man thong that really the case is anything but.
Now you're set for a real adventure.

Anyway, since I last updated. I've come home.

I got my job back at the beach so I spend my days mostly sitting in the rain wishing that sand didnt make you so dirty when its wet and most of my evening doing stuff with stefana and shaun.

Yesterday we went to see die hard 4.0. It was pretty sweet, and nerdy, which makes it an excellent contender for my coveted 'film of the summer' award.
Before that we went to see ricey in bristol. It was pretty fun. I'm far worse at snooker than I remember being but I hadn't played for over a year so that's my excuse.

Now I plan to go off and cook myself a delicious steak for dinner.
Yummy

okay she's gone now

Well, I think I was talking about the summer ball.

Anyway after the ball I slept until half one which is pretty much the latest I've slept in about 2 years.

Since then I've just been trying to sort out the stuff for leaving the house. Its a challenge as we have so much junk and I'm going to attempt to keep so much of the good stuff and take away so little of the bad stuff, but somehow we have to empty it all out by saturday.

Easy right?

So

I too had a summer ball recently, only instead of going as a nun I went as a long-haired man.

I would post you some photos but I don't own a camera but I'll describe it to you.

You know that fun fair that usually comes to christchurch. well we basically had all those rides except the one with the hydro where the little kids fall off their seats and into the middle to face an untimely death at the hands of the strangely angled floor. We also had all the dirty pikey games that are blatantly rigged coupled with our own home grown mini casino sadly the "casino" was only 2 black jack tables and a roulette but I guess they tried.
For entertainment we had had a silent disco raging throughout the night which looks weird and other tents the band that won our battle of the bands this year (yay!), the automatic (boo!) and hard fi (boo!). When the bands finished off it returned to vintage top banana in the main tent.

So

Yesterday we had a sort of all day pool party barbecue extravaganza. We filled the pool entirely with hot water. I have to say I was mighty impressed with how nice and warm it was.

We started at about 12 midday outside in the sunshine enjoying a quiet beer and a sit down. I began to work on evening out my t-shirt suntan but as you can imagine it still remains painfully evident.
Then we started filling the pool. Bucket by bucket from the hot tap in the kitchen, it was basically running for about 5 hours and by the end of it the pool was really a bit too hot to sit in comfortably.

Then for later we got the barbecue up and running. Now there are several pieces of chicken scattered across out patio. And we also had a bit of a fire going to give it a sort of communal feel with a slightly homeless twang to it.

Then I fell out of the pool.

I'd really like to spin an exciting tale of the whole event but my memory is a little fuzzy this morning.
I had a good time though and now our garden is pretty messy.

So I finished my exams a few days ago.
Since then I've done very little, survived on little or nothing to eat and risen through the ranks to the respectable position of 600th in the WiiFC mario strikers tables.

Its nice not to have to do any work or anything for a little while and it gives me a lot more time to plan to do things and then never actually get round to them.

Speaking of which I'll finish this update later.
